My good friend Ms. Kimmy is taking a cake decorating class and this is what she brought home last night in celebration. Don't you just feel the love. She even used her daughters '4' candle from her last birthday to sing me "Happy Divorce Day To You"! If I end up with copies of the pictures, they'll definitely make an appearance here. I don't recommend eating such an extravagant cake around 10pm, due to the resulting sugar rush. I still don't remember sleeping last night. My arms and legs just couldn't stop jittering. No worries... it was totally worth it.

Time to update the 'About Me' section.
Well, I'm a Bailey girl again. My divorce was finalized yesterday, which turned out to be more quick and painless than I anticipated. I only cried a little before it started and the baliff is entirely to blame. He was just way too nice, telling me that "it'll be alright, ya know". Hmmm. I knew that, but he didn't need to be nice. I was starting to worry that a hug would be coming next. The judge was super nice too and just asked me a few yes/no questions before she changed my name back and I was good to go. All in all, it's just a relief to have it over with.

I see you're taking it all in stride--as usual. Thinking about you and would love to see you soon. Hugs and kisses.
ReplyDelete--Awantie D (If you must use the term, this is how I want it pronounced!)
I love the happy divorce day cake! What's with the awantie D? Why not just Auntie? Anyways, congrats on the Divorce finally going through.. you're a trooper!
ReplyDeleteI'm sad I missed divorce cake, it looks scrumptious. Love ya, Ms. Bailey. People who sugar coat things/procedures that need to be quick and painless suck. ;)
